J-Rock On! Campaign

Each year, Utah Anime Promotions, a non-profit educational organization, sponsors the Anime Banzai convention in the Salt Lake City, Utah area. In 2010, the convention’s theme was music, specifically, Japanese rock music or “J-Rock.” Using pieces of artwork done by the Anime Banzai community for the annual Mascot Art Contest, I developed the 2010 convention’s campaign. The pieces featured here are the main Registration flyer, used as a pre-registration form for attendees, several banner designs and the newspaper ad that ran in the Salt Lake publication, City Weekly.
